At least 16 people have been injured in the recent missile explosion in Taganrog, Rostov region Governor Vasily Golubev reports.
“In total, 16 people sought medical care. Ten of them were hospitalised, including nine in medium-severity condition and one one in grave condition who is in the recovery room. One person was discharged in the morning,” he wrote.
The injured people will receive compensation, Golubev vowed. He also said that the investigation is underway at the site, which will be followed by a rubble clearance operation. Doctors will remain there until the end of the mission.
“Experts are inspecting buildings flat-by-flat to document damages,” the official noted. “Gas and power supply for buildings will be resumed gradually.”
The Taganrog administration informed that all public events had been cancelled in the city.
