Rostislav Zhuravlev, photojournalist working for Russia’s state-affiliated RIA Novosti news agency, has been killed in the latest round of shelling of Ukraine’s occupied regions, his colleague Konstantin Mikhalchevsky is injured, the agency reports.

Rostislav Zhuravlev, photojournalist working for Russia’s state-affiliated RIA Novosti news agency, has been killed in the latest round of shelling of Ukraine’s occupied regions, his colleague Konstantin Mikhalchevsky is injured, the agency reports.
According to RIA Novosti, the shelling targeted the area near the town of Pyatykhatky.
Moreover, two Izvestia journalists, Roman Polshakov and Dmitry Shikov, were also caught in the shelling, they were both injured.
The Russian Defence Ministry reports that the state media reporters were targeted by cluster munition shelling.
Zhuravlev was running a Telegram channel dubbed Nezhurka. He celebrated his birthday several days ago.
