The Russian Defence Ministry has reported that its military had continued “vengeance strikes” against Ukraine’s Odesa last night, as per the agency’s statement.
“Last night, the Armed Forces of Russia continued executing vengeance strikes, using high precision seaborne and airborne weapons against facilities producing and storing unmanned boats in Odesa and [Chornomorsk],” the press release reads.
The statement also says “facilities of fuel infrastructure and arms warehouses” were destroyed in the vicinity of Mykolaiv.
A man, 21, was killed in the recent attack on Odesa, and eight more people were injured. One more person was killed in Mykolaiv, also following Russian strikes, and at least 19 were injured.
The attacks also damaged the Chinese consulate in Odesa, says local governor Oleh Kiper.
