Ukraine’s military: Russia attacks Ukraine with six Shahed drones

Four of them were shot down

In the early hours of 15 July, Russia attacked Ukraine with six Shahed-136/131 drones from the southern direction, four of them were shot down, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.

In total, Ukraine’s air defence downed 10 aerial targets. Ukraine’s Armed Forces also shot down three reconnaissance UAVs (Orlan and Zala) and three Lancet kamikaze drones. 

The secretary of the Zaporizhzhia city council Anatolii Kurtiev said that a man had been hurt in the Russian attack; an infrastructure facility was also damaged. The injured man was hospitalised, his condition is of moderate severity. 

Furthermore, three Shahed-136 were shot down in the Mykolaiv region, as per the head of the regional administration Vitaly Kim. The air raid alarms were also sounded in the Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Donetsk regions of Ukraine.
