Russia’s president Vladimir Putin has stated that the Ukrainian military has started an offensive, as per RIA Novosti.
“It is safe to say that the Ukrainian offensive has started, it is evident that [they] are using strategic reserves,” he said.

Putin claims that the Ukrainian military has not achieved any success on any directions “thanks to the courage of our soldiers and the correct troops organisation”.
Putin also stated that the ukrainian military is suffering significant losses “above the usual figures”.
Although Russia does not have enough modern weapons, its military industry is developing rapidly, and the production facilities will achieve their tasks, Putin assured.
