An explosion has been reported in the town of Kireyevsk, Russia’s Tula region, two people have received shrapnel wounds, Russia’s state news agency TASS reports, citing the Unified Dispatch Service.
The town is located 35 km away from the regional capital Tula. As of now, the source of the explosion is unknown.
“The explosion occurred at 3:19 PM [local time, GMT+3], two people were injured — the first born in 2002 and the second in 2006. They’ve got shrapnel wounds, the ambulance has arrived. There’s a crater. The explosion took place within the city limits,” a representative of the dispatch service told TASS.
