One person was killed by Ukraine’s shelling of Donetsk, claims Alexey Kulemzin, the Russia-installed “mayor” of the city.
“A private residential building has been completely destroyed. A man was killed here, his credentials are now being clarified,” Kulemzin wrote.
The “mayor” also claims several strikes targeted the Central market in the city, destroying several buildings.
An apartment block was also attacked, apartments on top floors suffering heavy damage, he reports.
Valentyn Reznichenko, the governor of the Ukraine-controlled Dnipro region has reported that four elders were injured in an attack on Nikopol.
“A couple has been rescued from a burning apartment and treated by doctors. The man and his wife are now back home. Two more people, namely a man, 72, and a woman, 86, have been admitted to hospital with mine and blast injuries in a state of moderate severity,” he wrote.
Russia delivered five strikes upon the Dnipro region overnight, Reznichenko says. The town of Nikipol had several facilities damaged, namely a kindergarten, an administrative building, an office building, a car wash, a car park, several cars, a gas pipe line and overhead wires.
