A railway line has been sabotaged on the stretch between towns Novozybkov and Zlynka in Russia’s Bryansk region, the regional governor Alexander Bogomaz says.
“An unidentified explosive device detonated on the stretch between Novozybkov and Zlynka. Railway tracks were damaged, no one was hurt,” he writes in a Telegram post.
Russia’s Investigative Committee is planning to document and investigate the detonation of railway tracks.
The site of the explosion is located around 20 km away from Belarus.
According to the reports from the Community of Belarussian Railway Workers, the damaged railway juncture is used for military transportation between Russia and Belarus.
Local residents, according to the community, say that two explosions occurred half an hour apart.
