Moscow’s Tverskoy district court has arrested Anton Usov for 15 days on charges of “discreditation” of Russia’s Armed Forces and disobeying a police officer, independent Russian human rights project OVD-Info reports, citing the arrested man’s wife.
“He was detained in the afternoon of 12 October by traffic police agents — the reason for the detention was Usov allegedly listening to Ukrainian music in his car,” OVD-Info’s post says.
Initially, Usov was brought to a police department; two protocols against his actions were drawn up. After the court hearing, he was sent to serve his punishment in a special detention centre.
OVD-Info notes that Usov is a single father, seeing as his wife is not a legal guardian of his children. Usov has four dependent children, all younger than 18.
