At least 12 people were killed in Russia’s last night’s strike upon Zaporizhzhia, says Oleksandr Starukh, the local governor.
A total of 49 people were admitted to hospital, including 6 children. It is reported that 12 missiles hit the city, most of them targeting residential buildings.
A 9-storey block was partially destroyed, five more detached houses were completely destroyed, 20 vehicles were damaged, as well as some infrastructure, Starukh reports.
Rescuers and doctors are working on site.
Another shelling of Zaporizhzhia happened on 6 October, killing at least 17 people.
