One civilian was killed and two were injured in the shelling of Valuyki, a Russian town in the Belgorod region located near the border with Ukraine, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated on his Telegram channel.
“Air defence systems were operational, but there is damage on the ground. A sub-station was damaged, there are power shortages in the city. A fire started in eight residential buildings <…> and three cars,” Gladkov added.
By 5 a.m., power supply to the city was restored apart from one street that suffered the most damage in the attacks.
