Putin’s alleged daughter appointed co-CEO of Russia’s Union of industrialists board, will supervise import substitution

Katerina Tikhonova, Vladimir Putin’s alleged daughter, has been appointed co-head of the coordination board at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and will supervise import substitution and “technological independence,” RBC cites documents.

The Union’s PR department confirmed Tikhonova’s appointment. The new board was created to coordinate the Union’s activities for better import substitution.

Tikhonova is currently employed as vice-principal of a maths research institute at the Moscow State University and leads the Innopraktika foundation. Reuters, BBC, Bloomberg and other media refer to her as “Vladimir Putin’s younger daughter.”

Tikhonova, just like Maria Vorontsova, another alleged Putin’s daughter, faced sanctions from the EU, US and UK as the Ukraine War began.
