One woman killed in Russian attack on school in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region

In the early hours of 2 June, Ukraine’s Kharkiv region was attacked by the Russian forces, regional governor Oleh Synehubov stated on his Telegram channel.

A projectile hit a school in the area of Saltivka. One woman was killed in the attack, and one man was injured. Three more women who were in the building at the moment of the attack managed to escape. Synehubov reminded that yesterday, seven people were injured in attacks on the Kharkiv region.

Hostilities continue in the region. According to the governor, Russian troops focus on defence and maintaining control of the occupied areas in the direction of Kharkiv and Izium.

Other regions of Ukraine were targeted by Russian attacks as well. Five people were injured in the strikes on the Stryi and Sambir districts of the Lviv region.
