Dmitry Rogozin, head of Roskosmos, Russia’s space agency, has reported that Benjamin Rich, a vlogger from the UK, and Alina Tselupa, a Belarus national, were both detained in Baikonur, Kazakhstan.

Dmitry Rogozin, head of Roskosmos, Russia’s space agency, has reported that Benjamin Rich, a vlogger from the UK, and Alina Tselupa, a Belarus national, were both detained in Baikonur, Kazakhstan.

“Benjamin Rich, a British citizen, and Alina Tselupa, a citizen of Belarus, were detained at Baikonur’s launching site #112 at 18.10 Moscow time. They are now at the local police station,” Rogozin wrote on Telegram.
Rogozin also posted a picture of the detainees’ passports.
Benjamin Rich has a YouTube channel called bald and bankrupt. The channel has more than 3.5 million subscribers. He travels the world and has visited many post-Soviet countries. His goal is to “show how local people really live”. Rich is a fluent speaker of Russian.
